Soviet Russian USSR WWII medal Order of the Red Star with serial number in the low-2 million range awarded in April 1945 to Pyotr Antonovich Torin, a sergeant serving as a meteorologist at the Headquarters of the 12th Tank Corps. In addition to taking weather readings, he carried out assignments from headquarters commanders.

Torin also earned a Combat Service Medal in 1944 and Order of the Patriotic War 2nd Class in June 1945. At the latter time, he was assigned to a "chemical defense" company.
